Petdad 
I remind my kids of this sort of concept often when they are hurting from missing their great-grandmas. I remind them that we hurt that much because we loved that much and as difficult as it is to hurt now in their absence, they were a part of our life and part of us and that is so special. Nothing we don’t care about phases us when it’s gone.
